My super grandma!
If you read this letter you’re probably a flight attendant, working on one of the airplanes that will take my grandmother from Toronto to Luleå, Sweden.
My grandmas name is Astrid and she’s 85 years old. Obviously, grandma is a superhero for travelling so far on her own, but she has one super power that she still has to improve in. While she’s fluent in Swedish, and a variety of dialects thereof, she only understands simple English if spoken slowly. In case there’s some important information (delays etc) broadcast during your flight we would be very grateful if you could try to help grandma understand what’s going on.
Also, grandma doesn’t travel very fast on foot. As all super heroes she has her own, very cool, device to get around. We call it “The Burgundy Bolt” and to most people it looks like an ordinary walker. Grandma would be most grateful if TBB would meet her once she exits the plane. It should make it there by itself, but if it fails in driving there we hope you could help it to get there. Also, once grandma gets to the gate she would want to be transported in a wheelchair or electric car to the next flight. That way she can conserve her super hero energy so it lasts all the way back to Sweden.
Thanks for looking after my grandma!
